Built on Grit, Driven by Purpose

After retiring from the US Navy in 2022, Brooke and Emma didn't slow down — they hit the road. After a year of full-time RV living, they spotted a glaring gap in the market: certified brake and suspension expertise that could come directly to RVers wherever they were.

Brooke holds multiple Master's degrees including an MBA, and has been working on brakes and suspension since he was a kid. Combine that with military precision, business acumen, and a passion for the RV community — and Ramblin' Man was born.

Today, our growing team of Certified RV Technicians serves RVers at rallies, campsites, and on the side of the road — nationwide. We're not just fixing what's broken. We're building thriving businesses and a stronger RVing community.

🇺🇸 Veteran-Owned 🔧 Certified RV Techs 📍 Nationwide Service ⭐ 5-Star Rated 🚐 Mobile & On-Site

The RV Industry's Brake & Suspension Specialists

We specialize exclusively in trailer brakes and suspension — a niche with massive demand, few certified competitors, and repeat customers for life. Here's what every Ramblin' Man tech delivers:

🔧

Brake & Suspension Maintenance

Bearing repacks, full brake and suspension inspections, greasing suspension and wet bolts — all performed on-site at rallies, campsites, or wherever the customer is parked.

⬆️

Upgrade Installation

Premium disc brake conversions (DeeMaxx & Kodiak by Dexter), suspension system upgrades (MORryde, Roadmaster, Lippert Air-Ride), Valcrum caps, solid steel lugnuts, and more.

🛠️

Brake & Suspension Repairs

Expert mobile repairs performed wherever the RVer needs us — from roadside emergencies to scheduled service at the campground. No shop, no tow truck required.

🎪

Rally Service Events

We attend 40+ RV rallies per year, giving franchisees a built-in pipeline of motivated customers in one place. It's like a mobile trade show — and the customers come to you.

📦

Premium Parts Sales

Franchisees benefit from our established vendor relationships and negotiated pricing with trusted brands — DeeMaxx, Kodiak, MORryde, Roadmaster, Lippert, Dexter, and more.

🤝

Customer Relationships

Ramblin' Man has built a loyal, nationwide customer base. When you join the franchise, you inherit that trust — our name opens doors before you even pick up a wrench.

The Principles We Roll By

Every Ramblin' Man franchisee carries these values on every job — because how we work matters just as much as the work itself.

Service First

Every customer deserves a tech who shows up, listens, and gets the job done right — the first time. We serve our communities with empathy and responsiveness, because a broken-down RV isn't just an inconvenience, it's a derailed adventure. A happy customer isn't a goal. It's the standard.

Always Learning

The RV industry never stops evolving, and neither do we. Our technicians commit to ongoing education to stay sharp on the latest technology and best practices in the field. And we don't keep that knowledge to ourselves — we believe an informed RVer is a better RVer. Empowering our customers is part of the job.

The Right Attitude

We bring a positive attitude to every job — not because it's easy, but because it's the right way to work. We always do the right thing, even when no one's watching. We treat every customer with genuine respect, and we treat every RV as if it were our own. That's not a slogan. That's how we roll.

A Booming Market With Almost No Competition

There are over 11 million RVs on US roads — and that number grows every year. Yet there are almost no certified mobile specialists for trailer brakes and suspension. Most RV owners have to drive to a dealer or general repair shop, wait weeks for an appointment, and pay inflated prices.

Ramblin' Man fills that gap by bringing certified expertise directly to the customer. Low overhead. High demand. Loyal repeat customers. A brand that's trusted at rallies from coast to coast.

Whether you're a certified RV tech looking for independence, or someone ready to build a mobile service business, the Ramblin' Man franchise gives you the infrastructure to win in this market — without starting from scratch.

Your Questions, Answered

Have more questions? Reach out and we'll walk you through everything.

Do I need to be a certified RV technician to be considered? +
While prior experience in automotive, RV, or mechanical work is a strong advantage, it is not always required. Ramblin' Man offers a comprehensive training program designed to get franchisees up to speed on all service procedures. We look for people with the right attitude, work ethic, and passion for serving the RV community. During your discovery call, we'll assess your background and discuss what training path makes sense for you.
How much does a Ramblin' Man franchise cost? +
Full investment details — including the franchise fee, initial equipment and inventory costs, and ongoing royalty structure — are disclosed in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). We keep our model lean and low-overhead by design: no brick-and-mortar, no massive buildout. Contact us to get a copy of the FDD and discuss investment specifics on your discovery call.
What territory will I serve? +
Territory is determined collaboratively during the onboarding process, taking into account your location, mobility, and the density of RV rallies and campgrounds in your target area. The mobile nature of our business means many franchisees can travel beyond a fixed geographic boundary to attend rallies and serve customers across a wider region.
Do I need to attend RV rallies? +
Rally attendance is one of the most powerful customer acquisition channels in our model — it's where motivated RV owners come to you, in concentrated numbers, ready for service. We strongly encourage franchisees to attend rallies in their region and will support you with rally scheduling and coordination. That said, franchisees also build a strong base of local campsite and home-service customers alongside rally work.
How do I get parts and at what pricing? +
As a Ramblin' Man franchisee, you'll have access to our established vendor relationships with DeeMaxx, Kodiak by Dexter, MORryde, Roadmaster, Lippert, and more. You'll receive access to preferred dealer pricing that you couldn't easily obtain as a solo operator. Customers pay for parts upfront before the technician's arrival, and installation payment is made directly to you upon completion of service.
What ongoing support will I receive? +
Our commitment to franchisees doesn't end after training. You'll have access to a dedicated support line, regular check-ins with the Ramblin' Man leadership team, a growing peer network of fellow franchise technicians, and ongoing updates to procedures, pricing, and marketing materials. We grow when you grow — your success is our success.
Is this available in my state? +
We are currently working to expand nationwide. Some states have additional franchise registration requirements (California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin). If you're in one of these states, we will comply with all pre-sale registration requirements before making an offer. Reach out and we'll let you know where things stand for your state.
